“For most people in Brabant getting fries at least once a week is a form of tradition. As a child I looked forward to it every single time, it taught me to enjoy the little things in life. Even today, the unchanged interior of my local snack-bar serves as a time capsule. This inspired me to create an illustration that evokes these feelings of nostalgia as if it came straight out of a storybook”.
